Modern pendant necklace in horn and sterling silver contemporary style

Modern pendant necklace made of horn riveted on a sterling silver bail. Rectangular, geometric and refined shape for a resolutely contemporary style.

Each Model is Unique according to the veining of the horn. This material has an incredible richness of textures and colors which are revealed on polishing.

.

The pendant was cut by me by hand from a scrap of cow horn (no animal exploitation for that) and riveted in a silver bail entirely made to measure and hand in my workshop.

Riveting (thin through shank flattened with a hammer at both ends) allows a very solid fixing, much more than a simple gluing. The riveting also allows to have a very light and modern setting which suited me perfectly for this sleek model.

The pendant rests on a solid silver snake chain that can be chosen in 40/45 or 50 cm according to preference.

Pendant dimension: 4.4cm by 6mm wide - thickness 3mm


Entirely in sterling silver 925 (pendant, chain, ring, clasp and bail).

Each of my jewelry has a delicate implementation and takes time between designing, cutting, baking, shaping, cleaning, re-baking, re-cleaning, polishing and final assembly. Some steps are sometimes done 2 or 3 times or more.
