History of the Collection "I have a little grain!"

Transported by the waves, flirted with the whirlpools to finally find shelter between two pebbles and land, nestle ... Here is the life of a golden spangle of Pyrenees.

I found them as a family, with my little box to reveal them in broad daylight on this silver ring, posed thus, serenely in native gold grain.

Imagine what they would have to tell, the landscapes crossed, the remote times ... A pendant to history!

A dozen gold flakes have been melted to give this little grain of gold, raw, with these tiny impurities (quartz debris and other minerals encountered during their journey ...)

Gold ecologically extracted!

The collection is inspired by the water that carries the gold of our rivers, irregular flow and constant movement. It is enough for a particular movement of the water on itself to make the glitters get trapped and fall back to shelter between the pebbles. It is these sequins transformed into grain that adorn the creations of this collection.

These small earrings thus take a dome shape, irregular solid silver entirely handmade from a silver plate. Once formatted, I finely striated with a stall to highlight, once patina, streaks that they are brilliant. This creates a texture reminiscent of the water around the pebbles. The finish is matte brushed patinated black / gray to match the raw but shiny nature of the gold grain that is soldered on its face.


Size of the oval: 1.1cm approximately size of the gold grain: 1.5 to 2mm on 0.5mm thick


Entirely in sterling silver 925 (stem, dome shape and pushers), engraved with my master's mark.
